SummaryTemporary HR Specialist responsible for providing comprehensive support in various human resources functions, including recruiting, labor relations, compensation, benefits, payroll, and organizational development. The role involves offering guidance and information related to workforce management, benefits, payroll, HR processes, and supporting employees, former employees, managers, and HR partners. Key duties include processing transactions in HR systems, maintaining employee records, administering benefit plans, and supporting payroll procedures.
Responsibilities- Deliver high‑touch customer service via phone, email, and case management systems.
- Support HR, payroll, and benefits transactions, including Work Day HRIS administration.
- Process confidential employee information (new hires, terminations, promotions, etc.).
- Administer employee benefit plans and ensure accurate data in HR systems.
- Identify, document, and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with team members to drive improvements in HR processes.
- Participate in ongoing training and provide feedback on customer issues.
- Must be bilingual and biliterate in Spanish.
- High school diploma.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR‑related functions.
- Experience with People Soft, Workday, or other HRIS.
- Broad HR, payroll, and benefits knowledge, with ability to provide customers with relevant information, policy explanations, and navigation support.
- Customer service and call center experience preferred; previous experience in a centralized HR Shared Service environment is a plus.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills; ability to relate to others in an empathetic and helpful manner.
- Ability and willingness to work in a team environment.
- Basic analytical and system navigation skills.
- Strong organization skills.
- Self‑motivated and independent problem‑solving ability.
- Detail‑oriented approach to gathering and maintaining information and data, with ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to work in a change‑filled environment and manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
