Meat Cutter (Apprentice) – Save Mart – 841 Tucker Rd, Tehachapi, CA 93561

As a Meat Cutter Apprentice, you will meet daily production needs and maintain quality standards in meat cutting and preparation. You will display fresh and appealing product throughout the department, process fresh and frozen items, package and label products, rotate inventory, remove out‑of‑code items, and sanitize work areas in accordance with company standards and health department regulations.

• Set up displays and ensure product appeal.

• Prepare trays, weigh and label packages, and rotate inventory.

• Maintain hygiene standards and sanitation of the department.

• Provide excellent customer service at all times.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Have at least 6 months of experience in a meat department.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and perform continuous walking, standing, reaching, and bending.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Strong team player with a willingness and desire to learn, work hard, and have fun with it.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
