This key position involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a number of ASDA store locations within a specified region, to a range of electrical, mechanical and building assets while complying with health and safety procedures. The role covers maintenance of bakery and catering equipment, mechanical and electrical systems, lighting, building fabric, water services, HVAC, fire and security systems, and general electrical issues.

• Complete all necessary PPMs and ensure all PPM remedial tasks are accurately logged and actioned, ensuring legal compliance.
• Supervise the Maintenance Assistant (MA), providing regular coaching and support to perform their role in line with company processes.
• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and contract SLA’s.

• C&G 2382 (18th edition)
• Level 3 core Electrical qualification, for example C&G2330, C&G 2365 (with relevant experience), C&G2365, etc.

• Familiarity with completion of electrical certification
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection
• Time served in electrical discipline or relevant industry experience in a similar role

• Ability to maintain/repair a range of electrical and mechanical equipment, e.g. fans, pumps and compressors, to recognised standards
• General plumbing and building experience
• Ability to work at heights
• Current driving licence
