Kaizen Engineer

ATTC Manufacturing seeks a Kaizen Engineer to drive continuous improvement in our precision automotive parts facility. In this hands-on role, you will analyze machining and assembly processes, lead Kaizen events, and implement lean tools such as 5S, standardized work, and visual management. You'll partner with engineering, production, and leadership to reduce waste, improve safety, and boost quality and throughput. Using data-driven problem solving, you will document new standards, train team members, and support a culture of accountability, collaboration, and ongoing process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes to identify waste, variation, and bottlenecks
• Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects on the shop floor
• Develop and implement lean tools such as 5
• S, standardized work, and visual management
• Collect and interpret data on quality, downtime, and throughput to drive decisions
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams on process improvements
• Document new standards, work instructions, and best practices
• Train operators and team leaders on lean methods and problem-solving tools
• Support safety, quality, and cost-reduction goals through structured projects
