Vice President of Commercial Lending

Hoosier Hills Credit Union, a distinguished financial cooperative located in Bedford, Indiana, seeks a seasoned Vice President of Commercial Lending to lead and expand our commercial lending department. This role is pivotal in managing and growing our portfolio of commercial loans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and developing strong relationships with community businesses. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of credit analysis, risk management, and financial market trends.

This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is crucial for driving our strategic financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for commercially lending growth and profitability.
• Manage a team of lending professionals, setting objectives and providing mentorship.
• Oversee the entire loan process, from underwriting and approval to closing and servicing.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders in the community.
• Analyze and respond to market trends and make recommendations for product development.
