About the Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Perry County Memorial Hospital, you will support patients and the nursing team by providing direct patient care and assisting with daily activities. Assist patients with activities of daily living
Support nursing staff with patient care needs
Maintain accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
Respond appropriately in stressful or rapidly changing situations
Maintain a safe and respectful patient environment
Follow hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
High school diploma or equivalent
Current Indiana Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Current BLS/CPR certification
Previous clerical and/or nursing assistant experience is helpful but not required
Ability to work in standing and seated positions
Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting
Use of proper body mechanics when lifting and transferring patients
Ability to maintain focus, accuracy, and organization
Ability to adapt to stressful situations
