Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Operations Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Temecula, CA. This full-time role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys a fast-paced corporate office environment, high-volume work, process improvement, and cross-functional support.

The Accounting Operations Specialist will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reconciliations, assisting with month-end and year-end close, developing SOPs, and helping onboard and train team members. • Maintain and reconcile financial and banking accounts, prepare journal entries, and support accurate accounting records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, reporting, data entry, vendor communication, and discrepancy resolution.
• Develop, update, and standardize Standard Operating Procedures, training guides, manuals, and process documentation.
• Support onboarding and training for new employees, including refresher training for existing team members.
• Cross-train across accounting, banking, accounts payable, payroll, and reporting to provide departmental coverage as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, internal controls, and confidentiality requirements.

• Direct hire opportunity.
• Pay range: $34 to $38 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
• Full-time schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Health insurance offered within 60 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision, and chiropractic care.
• 40 hours of vacation begins accruing after 6 months of employment.
• 40 hours of paid sick leave accrues per California law.
• 9 paid holidays per year.
• 401K eligible after completion of 1 year of employment.
