SENIOR PROJECT EXECUTIVE / PROJECT EXECUTIVE

Senior Project Executive

The Senior Project Executive provides executive oversight of multiple construction projects and project teams from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for client satisfaction, financial performance, risk management, team development, and operational excellence while supporting the company's growth and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide executive oversight for multiple projects, project managers, and project teams.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary escalation point for key accounts.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, cash flow, profitability, and risk exposure.
  • Lead project strategy, staffing, resource allocation, and operational planning.
  • Support business development efforts, client retention, and pursuit strategy.
  • Review and assist with contract negotiations, change management, claims avoidance, and dispute resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, safety requirements, quality expectations, and client commitments.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Operations personnel.
  • Participate in executive planning, process improvement initiatives, and company-wide operational leadership.
  • Collaborate with estimating, preconstruction, field operations, accounting, and executive leadership to ensure successful project execution.
Ideal Qualifications
  • 10+ years of commercial construction management experience.
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects and project teams.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, project financials, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated leadership, client management, and team development abilities.
  • Experience with retail, restaurant, industrial, commercial, or multi-site construction programs preferred.

Project Executive

The Project Executive is responsible for the successful delivery of multiple construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role provides leadership to project teams, maintains client relationships, oversees project financial performance, and ensures projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support Project Managers and project teams across multiple projects.
  • Serve as the primary client contact and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, schedules, cash flow, profitability, and overall performance.
  • Assist with project planning, staffing, resource allocation, and operational execution.
  • Support contract administration, change management, and issue resolution.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively addressing client and project concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate with estimating, preconstruction, field operations, accounting, and executive leadership to support successful project delivery.
  • Participate in business development efforts, client retention, and repeat work opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and project support staff.
Ideal Qualifications
  • 7+ years of commercial construction management experience.
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects and project teams.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, project financials, scheduling, and project controls.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and client management skills.
  • Experience with retail, restaurant, industrial, commercial, or multi-site construction programs preferred.

Compensation:
Dependent upon experience. $150k-$175K+
