We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in heavy civil/industrial construction to lead complex water and wastewater projects. The role is based in Phoenix, AZ and focuses on managing projects from initiation to completion.

Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of water and wastewater and pump station construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, contractors, and other professionals during all phases of project development and execution.

Prepare, review, and update project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that all project activities align with these plans.

Coordinate and supervise the construction process from conceptual development through final construction, ensuring all work is performed according to design specifications.

Manage and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the project, ensuring that any changes are properly documented and communicated to all relevant parties.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards related to water and wastewater construction projects.

Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, keeping all parties informed of project progress and any changes.

Qualifications

Minimum of five years of project management experience within the heavy civil/industrial construction sector.

Proven experience managing water and wastewater construction projects, including underground utilities, pump stations, site work, structural concrete, and knowledge of process, mechanical, and yard piping.

Strong leadership and team‑management skills with the ability to coordinate and oversee a team of professionals.

Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve project issues effectively and efficiently.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Deep understanding of local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards related to water and wastewater construction projects.

Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.

Preferred: A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
