We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in heavy civil/industrial construction to lead complex water and wastewater projects. The role is based in Phoenix, AZ and focuses on managing projects from initiation to completion.

Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of water and wastewater and pump station construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, contractors, and other professionals during all phases of project development and execution.
  • Prepare, review, and update project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that all project activities align with these plans.
  • Coordinate and supervise the construction process from conceptual development through final construction, ensuring all work is performed according to design specifications.
  • Manage and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the project, ensuring that any changes are properly documented and communicated to all relevant parties.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards related to water and wastewater construction projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, keeping all parties informed of project progress and any changes.
  • Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years of project management experience within the heavy civil/industrial construction sector.
  • Proven experience managing water and wastewater construction projects, including underground utilities, pump stations, site work, structural concrete, and knowledge of process, mechanical, and yard piping.
  • Strong leadership and team‑management skills with the ability to coordinate and oversee a team of professionals.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve project issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards related to water and wastewater construction projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Preferred: A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
