Southwest Christian Church is a non‑denominational, reformed fellowship committed to the historic Christian faith, the Doctrines of Grace, and to the centrality of God’s Word in all of life and worship. Our statement of faith reflects both the fullness of biblical theology and emphasizes the Five Solas. Our worship on Sunday mornings is Christ‑centered, theologically substantive, and aimed at the glory of God in spirit and in truth.
Those seeking to apply should be men who:
- Meet the biblical qualifications for an elder/overseer (1 Tim. 3:1–7; Titus 1:6–9; 1 Peter 5:1‑5) or are actively pursuing them with the endorsement of their church’s elders.
- Aspire to the office of a pastor, by shepherding the congregation in Scripture and song.
- Affirms our statement of faith, including the doctrines of grace and a high view of Scripture.
- Does not believe in seeker‑sensitive nor attractional worship practices.
