School Paraprofessional substitutes are needed to provide valuable instructional support in school settings near Temecula, CA. As an Instructional Aide, you will provide one‑on‑one support to students, help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment, and work under the direction of teachers and school staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students during classroom activities
- Assist students individually or in small groups, as directed by the teaching team
- Help students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
- Follow Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and implement behavior support strategies
- Support students’ mobility, supervision, and, if necessary, personal care needs
- Foster a respectful and safe learning environment at all times
- High school diploma or GED
- 18 years of age or older
- Current TB test (or willingness to obtain, per district guidelines)
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when needed
- Current clearances, or willingness to secure before starting
- Previous work in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
- Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials a plus, but not required
- Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a collaborative mindset

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
