Provide engineering design, build, troubleshoot, repair, and/or modify an array of specialized test systems and fixtures, and assembly and inspection tooling from schematics and/or written instructions (specific or inferred). The Mechanical Engineer has the responsibility and authority to perform assigned tasks.

• Develop mechanical design and drafting skills, including basic machining knowledge as applicable. Be key focus and provide expertise on new product introduction.
• Develop electromechanical skills to include understanding and use of switches and sensors, application and measurement of mechanical load and position.
• Complete appropriate test documentation and certifying to test results.
• Experience with hydraulic or pneumatic equipment and techniques.
• Other duties may also be assigned.

  Proficient in use of typical MRP system software, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project.

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar field from a four-year college or university, and 2 - 3 years of working experience in the aerospace industry.
• Aviation component repair or manufacturing experience a plus.
• Must have familiarity with standard Microsoft office suite.
• Must be able to generate and update CAD models and drawings using Solid Works and/or Inventor programs.
• NI / LabVIEW experience, electrical aptitude, military, and aerospace industry experience are all a plus.
