Southern California based General Engineering Construction company seeking an APM for Fuel systems, Industrial and Mechanical builds. Must be able to travel! Excellent opportunity for growth!
Salary: $30 - $38 per hour

About the Role
You’ll play a critical role in managing 4-6 active projects, supporting project planning, scheduling, documentation, procurement, and communication between office and field. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious APM who’s ready to take ownership, problem-solve in real time, and grow into a future Project Manager role.
What You’ll Do- Coordinate day-to-day project operations, schedules, and documentation
- Track procurement, vendor quotes, deliveries, and subcontractor progress
- Prepare closeout packages, submittals, safety docs, and field folders
- Support superintendents and field teams across California
- Maintain accurate project schedules using Buildertrend and
- Take meeting notes, manage action items, and follow up on deadlines
- Assist with budget tracking and vendor management
- Support company safety programs and site documentation requirements
- 2-4 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Sr. Project Coordinator in commercial construction, fuel systems, or mechanical/MEP environments
- Proficiency in project management tools (Buildertrend, Monday, Procore, or similar)
- Strong organizational and documentation skills using Microsoft Office & Adobe Acrobat
- Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through to completion
- Valid CA driver’s license and ability to travel statewide (some overnight)
- OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with fuel systems, environmental, or public works projects
- Knowledge of Cal/OSHA documentation standards
