** Senior Specialist, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS).*
* In this pivotal role, you will apply established EHS principles, practices, regulations, and internal standards while engaging with stakeholders and customers. You'll take a solutions-oriented approach to planning, directing, and completing a wide range of EHS assignments that support a safe and compliant workplace.
** What You'll Work On*
* ** Compliance & Risk Management*
* + Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations and internal standards.
+ Stay current on evolving regulatory requirements and proactively address risks.
+ Represent EHS during audits and inspections; maintain accurate documentation.
** Project Management*
* + Independently lead and manage multiple EHS projects from scope to execution.
+ Conduct feasibility studies, develop schedules, and deliver results on time and within budget.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and implement contingency plans when needed.
** Technical Leadership*
* + Apply advanced EHS knowledge to programs and systems.
+ Benchmark best practices and lead cross-functional initiatives.
+ Present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
** Problem Solving & Innovation*
* + Identify and resolve complex EHS challenges through root cause analysis and strategic planning.
+ Deliver cost-effective, value-added solutions that align with business goals.
+ Anticipate future trends and develop proactive strategies.
** Organizational Influence*
* + Mentor and guide team members and external partners.
+ Build strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
+ Develop and deliver impactful training programs and presentations.
** Additional Responsibilities*
* + Maintain EHS procedures and standards.
+ Support capital project planning and documentation.
+ Represent EHS on committees and project teams.
+ Respond to urgent EHS issues with sound judgment and technical expertise.

* + Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
+ 5+ years of EHS and/or operational experience in a regulated environment.
+ Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills.
** Preferred:*
* + Advanced degree (preferred
+ Professional EHS certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM).
+ Experience in the medical device or manufacturing industry.
