Hourly Rate: $18 - $20/hr
Shift: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

The Day Program Instructor supports individuals with developmental disabilities to have a good quality of life. The instructor promotes the health, safety, and well‑being of residents and serves as an advocate for clients.
- Outline and prepare daily routines for clients as written in Individual Program Plans.
- Assist clients with bathroom needs, change clothing or undergarments as needed.
- Prepare daily meals and assist with clean‑up.
- Support clients with daily living and vocational activities.
- Pick‑up/drop‑off clients in company vans when necessary.
- Participate in client assessment, planning, and evaluation processes.
- Input all client notes into computer programs, review IPP goals, and communicate with supervisors.
- Attend regular staff meetings and participate in continuing education and training.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- At least 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
- ASL preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a California Driver’s License.
- Must successfully pass all pre‑employment requirements, including a background check.
- Preferred:
Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year
2) or willingness to obtain within 6 months. - Preferred:
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months. - Must have First Aid / CPR certification.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
