South Coast Winery Resort & Spa and Carter Estate Winery Resort are premier destinations in Temecula Wine Country, offering award-winning wines, exceptional hospitality, and unforgettable experiences. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Tasting Room Manager to lead our dynamic team and deliver world-class service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement wine knowledge and sales training programs for the tasting room team.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and state alcohol service laws.
  • Manage administrative tasks including payroll, scheduling, inventory control, and reporting.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and presentation of tasting room and member lounge facilities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and retail teams to create innovative promotions and events.
  • Control expenses and manage budgets for labor, cost of sales, and other operational costs.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support career development for team members.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality or wine industry management.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Knowledge of wine and wine service standards; WSET or similar certification a plus.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and POS systems.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
