Starling is an American aerospace company developing next-generation autonomous drone systems, including the Pathfinder-X fixed-wing VTOL drone-in-a-box and the Starling Hub autonomous ground station. All engineering, manufacturing, and testing are performed in Southern California, with a strong emphasis on domestic sourcing, secure supply chains, and compliance with defense and public-safety requirements.

Role Overview:
Starling is seeking a Supply Chain, Procurement & Logistics Manager to own and scale the company’s end-to-end supply chain. This role is critical to supporting production, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building long-term supplier relationships across the aerospace ecosystem.

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with aerospace, defense, and advanced-manufacturing vendors.
• Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers.
• Lead price, lead-time, and contract negotiations.
• Procure mechanical, electrical, composite, propulsion, and COTS components.

• Track inventory levels, open orders, and lead times.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and traceability.
• Align procurement with production needs.

• Negotiate and manage domestic and international shipping.
• Manage freight forwarders and logistics providers.

• Prepare and manage export documentation.
• Ensure compliance with EAR regulations.

• Support ISO-9001 and AS-9100 implementation.
• Coordinate third-party certification bodies.

• 3+ years in aerospace or advanced hardware supply chain.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Experience with inventory systems and logistics.
