Operations Manager

Our client, a rapidly expanding B2B packaging and distribution company, is seeking an Operations Manager to help scale operations as they prepare for extensive growth.

• Lead and mentor 5+ direct reports across operational and supervisory teams.
• Oversee multiple departments such as Customer Service, HR, Purchasing, Logistics, Printing, and Finance.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
• Develop, update, and standardize SOPs across all departments.
• Identify operational gaps and implement scalable processes as the company grows.
• Drive initiatives in process improvement, workflow optimization, and root cause analysis.
• Support continuous improvement efforts such as value stream mapping and operational efficiency projects.
• Act as the operational bridge between teams and the C‑Suite.
• Improve communication, handoffs, and expectations between departments.
• Work directly with leadership on operational strategy, planning, and execution.
• Support and improve distribution, logistics, inventory, and supply chain workflows.
• Assist with key business operations such as RMAs, vendor credits, and vendor/contract negotiations.
• Partner with B2B sales, production, and customer‑facing teams to ensure smooth operations.

• 3-7 years of operational leadership experience with at least 5 direct reports

• Background in distribution, logistics, or supply chain (NOT manufacturing management).
• Experience working with brand‑specific or customized B2B products (packaging experience is a plus).
• Proven success helping a small or mid‑size company (50‑100 employees) scale and grow.
• Comfort working closely with senior leadership and executives.
• A versatile leadership style that adapts to different departments and levels of maturity.
