General Summary
The Warehouse Manager oversees the daily operation of the warehouse and receiving dock. This includes the receipt and issue of all goods delivered to the property, as well as the cleanliness and organization of the warehouses.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise Warehouse and Receiving operations in accordance with all PRC SOP and manuals
- Ensure cleanliness of warehouse and loading dock areas, including cleaning schedules and deep cleaning periodically.
- Maintain supplies for the warehouse department, including all material handling equipment. This includes proper accountability of equipment and routine maintenance and cleaning.
- Maintain a positive work environment for the staff, to include timely performance reviews, fair and consistent work standards, disciplinary action, high morale and setting the example of professional and efficient performance.
- Responsible to ensure proper safety conditions are maintained in the warehouse and loading dock areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the outdoor storage area, consisting of kegs, pallets, etc.
- Ensure the staff properly rotates and stocks warehouse items from point of delivery and receipt.
- Work with receiving, warehouse and inventory control on proper dating of product upon delivery, product rotation, and spoilage issues and documentation as it occurs.
- Ensure orders are filled by the staff efficiently, by pulling requested products and delivering them to requesting department. This includes proper document training and accuracy.
- Work with inventory control on the bin organization and pars of all items in the warehouse.
- Work with inventory control and all inventory variances, to help ensure proper financial accountability.
- Work closely with inventory control to ensure accuracy of documents and products.
- Ensure proper accountability of goods upon delivery by staff, by obtaining all necessary information on delivery log.
- Assist and direct staff with departmental inventories as scheduled by inventory control.
- Work closely with the Chefs, inventory control and the buyers on slow moving or volatile items in the warehouse inventory.
- Carefully oversee the delivery and notification process for sensitive materials being delivered to the dock, including gaming devices, cards, chips, slot parts, etc.
- Properly hire and train new staff, according to job specifications, qualifications, and attitude.
- Manage the schedules and the payroll for all hourly warehouse and receiving Team Members, via the timekeeping system.
- Maintain all Team Member records in a clean, updated, and organized manner.
- Work closely with warehouse and receiving staff on training issues, including a training plan for new hires.
- Oversee the movement of furniture, materials and equipment, as requested and scheduled with other property management.
- Responsible for all shipping of goods from the property, via Fed Ex, online UPS, or various freight companies.
- Oversee the transporting of various goods between storage areas and property buildings.
- Oversee proper document retention, organization and cleanliness of building F, including the movement of accounting totes and equipment to and from the building, as well as periodic destruction of documents or liquidation of equipment.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of goods for events and customer gifting.
- Maintain good communication with inventory control, vendors, delivery personnel, staff and purchasing.
- Other duties as assigned.
This position has supervisory responsibilities that include hiring/termination, corrective action, and Team Member relations issues. This position also has forecasting responsibility. The Team Member is responsible for protecting the assets of PRC.
Qualifications Education/Experience/TrainingAt least 5 years’ managerial experience is required or 7 years preferred to successfully perform this job. Prior Inventory Warehouse and Receiving experience preferred. A high school degree or general education degree (GED) is required as well.
