Automotive Parts & Service Director – Temecula, California

This role is built for a strategic, disciplined, and people‑driven Parts & Service Director who knows how to run a profitable, customer‑focused operation. The dealership in Temecula, CA is looking for a proven leader who can elevate processes, develop teams, and drive results across both Parts and Service with confidence and clarity.

What You’ll Lead
  • Full operational oversight of the Parts and Service departments, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and exceptional customer experience
  • Leadership of advisors, technicians, parts staff, dispatch, and support teams with clear expectations and accountability
  • Development and execution of strategies to improve CSI, technician efficiency, ELR, parts gross, and overall Fixed Ops performance
  • Collaboration with Sales, Accounting, and Ownership to maintain seamless inter‑department operations
  • Oversight of warranty administration, OEM compliance, safety standards, and internal controls
  • Recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management across all Fixed Ops roles
  • Implementation of process improvements that enhance workflow, communication, and profitability
  • Monitoring of KPIs, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to ensure consistent growth
What Makes You a Strong Fit
  • Proven success as a Parts & Service Director
    , Fixed Operations Director
    , or Service Manager in a dealership environment
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable
  • Deep understanding of dealership service and parts operations, KPIs, and workflow optimization
  • Excellent communication and customer‑handling skills, especially in high‑pressure situations
  • Experience with dealership DMS systems such as CDK, Reynolds, Dealer track, or similar
  • A mindset focused on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on leadership
