Veterinary Practice Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $70,204 - $101,406 annually
Summary of RoleIn partnership with the chief of staff, the Practice Manager manages day‑to‑day operations so the medical team can focus on delivering high‑quality veterinary care. The role combines business management, people leadership, and client experience, ensuring that patients and guests receive timely, welcoming service while supporting the growth of both the veterinary and corporate businesses.
Responsibilities- Interview, hire, and develop associates.
- Evaluate hospital processes, progress, and productivity.
- Train associates to educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, pet health needs, and hospital services.
- Educate associates on Banfield guidelines and practices.
- Budget, plan, and forecast hospital operations.
- Support daily operations and staff, including scheduling and time‑off coordination.
- Manage continuing education needs for the team.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A knack for problem‑solving and conflict management.
- Leadership and analytical capabilities.
- Capacity to foster an engaging team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred.
- Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Three years of related experience in healthcare, veterinary, service industry, or similar fields.
- Direct supervisory experience, including hiring and associate development.
