Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Site Leader to oversee our fulfillment center in Columbia, MD and support the growth of our business.
The RoleThe Site Leader is a key leadership role in our growing fulfillment organization. The position will oversee supervisors and hourly team members, and interact daily with company leadership overseeing the center.
What You’ll Do- Communicate key issues to regional leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Schedule and manage labor models to match forecasted requirements.
- Ensure team members are trained in the warehouse management system and meet UPH targets.
- Develop weekly plans incorporating UPH analysis and capacity requirements.
- Engage with the hourly workforce and address their concerns.
- Support company growth objectives by communicating capacity constraints or improvements.
- Build an effective team, retain key members, eliminate safety obstacles, and foster pride.
- Mentor and develop the team for performance, career development, and job satisfaction.
- Customer‑centric; places customer satisfaction first.
- Proven leader capable of motivating, training, and guiding teams to extraordinary performance.
- Data‑driven and able to use data to support decisions.
- 6+ years progressive operational and managerial experience in a fulfillment center or similar logistics environment.
- 4+ years of experience motivating, training, and leading teams to high performance.
- 1+ year site‑leadership experience with full P&L responsibility.
- Experience in direct‑to‑consumer and business‑to‑business pick‑and‑pack environments.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach as required.
- Lift up to 25–30 lbs. on occasion.
- Maintain focus for extended periods.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Understanding of basic facility/maintenance needs, HR functions, and safety performance.
- Ability to use Excel formulas and pivot tables for data analysis.
