Sirius Staffing is hiring a Packaging Operator for a Mon-Fri, day shift position at a biotech/pharma manufacturing facility in Temecula, CA. We are seeking someone who is willing to learn quickly and has high attention to detail.

Title: Production Associate (Packaging and Assembly/Kit Operator)
Pay: $21/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6 a – 230p

• Use automated equipment such as auto-labelers, auto-baggers, and future production automation to apply labels to products, assemble kits, and package products.
• Ensure quality is maintained by verifying information is correct and work is performed per procedures.
• Report any inconsistencies or non-conformances discovered during procedures.
• Fill/dispense liquid and/or solid products into bottles/vials using pipettes, pumps, spatulas, scoops, or automated equipment, safely and correctly.
• Perform procedures involving calculations and material measurements; collect and record data on batch records.
• Correctly use Biological Safety Cabinets (BSC) and Laminar Flow Workstations.
• Use basic scientific laboratory equipment such as scales and fume hoods.
• Properly handle and dispose of biologically and chemically hazardous materials.
• Identify low technical issues and troubleshoot/resolve as a subject matter expert.
• Collaborate with support departments such as Quality, Distribution, and Data Management to resolve low complexity issues.
• Support the 6S program by conducting housekeeping at the end of the shift.
• Perform or assist in validations/verification of processes and equipment.
• Responsible for verification and final product quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Lifting and moving up to 25 lbs.
• Able to perform unit conversions and read, understand, and follow procedures.
• Proficiency with computer systems for documentation and batch records
• Highly collaborative and team-oriented.
• Ability to multitask to meet manufacturing schedules.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Properly utilize PPE, including but not limited to lab coat, safety glasses, nitrile gloves, and N95 respirator mask.
