Assembler - Temecula

This role is responsible for producing high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell. You will perform detailed assembly tasks and operate various equipment and machinery by following documented procedures. The work takes place in a controlled cleanroom environment and involves precise, hands-on activities that directly support patient safety and product quality.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble cardiovascular medical devices and related components in a manufacturing cell according to documented procedures.
  • Perform detailed electronic assembly, casting and coating functions, mechanical assembly, and packaging as required.
  • Operate a variety of equipment and machinery safely and accurately by following standardized work instructions.
  • Use microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering tools, and adhesive bonding techniques to complete assembly tasks.
  • Perform routine assignments according to specified and standardized procedures under close and continual review.
  • Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies to verify quality and compliance.
  • Perform tests on units using computerized test equipment and document results as required.
  • Repair and correct devices and components using microscopes and applicable tools when defects or issues are identified.
  • Package devices to ensure all parts are accurate, properly labeled, and documentation is complete.
  • Maintain accurate records so travelers, shop floor paperwork, and quality documents remain complete and traceable.
  • Ensure all parts and components are fully traceable so quality issues can be identified and addressed promptly.
  • Clean tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with documented procedures to maintain cleanroom standards.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate safety devices and equipment when performing operations.
  • Work effectively as part of a production team to meet quality, safety, and output targets in a cleanroom environment.
Essential Skills
  • At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic English skills to read, understand, and follow documented procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Experience with assembly or operator roles in a production environment.
  • Ability to perform medical device assembly or similar detailed assembly work.
  • Comfort working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to operate production and machine equipment safely and accurately.
  • Capability to perform visual inspections and precision measurements using microscopes and related tools.
  • Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Ability to follow standardized procedures and work instructions consistently.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with medical device manufacturing or assembly.
  • Experience in machine operation in a regulated or cleanroom environment.
  • Familiarity with using microscopes for inspection, repair, or assembly tasks.
  • Experience with soldering, adhesive bonding, or handling small components.
  • Previous experience in food service or similar environments that require strict hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • Comfort working with hand tools, razor blades, syringes, and other precision tools under supervision.
