Job Duties
This section provides an overview of essential duties for the position: The OR RN performs initial assessment appropriate to the patient's clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age, development level, and cultural and religious orientation. Identifies and prioritizes the need for further assessment based on the patient’s clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, desire for care and responses to any previous care.
QualificationsOne (1) year operating room experience in an acute care facility and/or surgery center
Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Registered Nurse with current California RN license
Current BLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
CNOR preferred
