The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) documents all activities per established policy, observes patient behavior across biophysical, developmental, cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and sociocultural domains, and performs secretarial/clerical aspects of patient care under RN supervision. The CNA prioritizes and processes physician orders accurately, assists with patient calls, receives and greets patients and visitors, and records and delivers messages for patients and staff.

• Current, valid CA Certified Nursing Assistant certificate or evidence of completion of Nursing Fundamentals within the last 24 months from an accredited Registered Nursing program while enrolled in an accredited RN program.
• BLS Certification (AHA and current).
• CPI or NCI certification within 120 days of hire and annual renewal thereafter.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fluctuating census environment subject to many interruptions and irregular hours.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment where noise levels fluctuate.
