About the Hospital

Responsibilities- Perform initial patient assessment based on clinical presentation and admission setting.
- Identify and prioritize causes for further assessment and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Plan and coordinate discharge when appropriate.
- Assist physicians in operating room procedures such as cardio‑thoracic and coronary artery bypass surgery, ensuring sterility and adhering to AORN guidelines.
- Execute interventions outlined in the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care for each nursing diagnosis.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience circulating for cardio‑thoracic or coronary artery bypass surgery.
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred:
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (AHA) and Certified Nursing Officer Responding (CNOR).
