Job Summary

Rancho Family Medical Group is an award-winning practice that specializes in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, and Geriatric Care. As a fast growing and well-respected private practice in Southwest Riverside County, the role of our physicians in our practice are to examine and treat patients, regardless of age or sex. Ensure proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

Prescribe and administer medications, perform routine vaccinations, and provide advice regarding personal health and hygiene. Request necessary tests and follow-up visits and refer patients to specialists, as necessary.

Description
  • Full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Primary Care.
  • Full-time is 40 hours per work week (36 patient facing hours in clinic; 4 admin hours non-clinic)
  • Providers see approximately three patients per hour once fully trained and onboarded.
  • EHR: EPIC – Riverside Area
Required

Education and Experience
  • Board certification.
  • Active and unrestricted California PA/NP medical license.
Minimum Experience Required
  • Board certification/eligibility.
  • License/Certification:
    Active and unrestricted California Medical license. (Required)
Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required
  • Bilingual Spanish or other language preferred but not required.
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
  • Excellent knowledge of infectious diseases, their symptoms and epidemiology.
  • Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal and best medical guidelines and medicine best practices.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Respect for patient’s confidentiality.
  • Compassionate and approachable.
  • Responsible and trustworthy.
Expected Hours of Work
  • Full-time Advance Practice Provider (APP) in family practice (30-40 hours per work week).
  • Providers see approximately three patients per hour.
  • 4 or 5-day work week options.
  • Schedule:

    typical schedule is four 10-hour days (9 hours patient facing; 1 hour lunch), and one 4-hour admin day (non-clinic; can be from home).
  • Night call schedule is 2-3 times per month (during non-clinic hours; no in-person responsibilities).
