Customer Service Rep, Business Administration
Job Summary
Manage and coordinate contracted and non‑contracted pricing for Medline customers regarding branded products. Communicate with various parties on all aspects concerning pricing. Manage price change expectations related to contracts and non‑contracted pricing.
Cultivate day‑to‑day relationships with customers. Act as a liaison between vendors and sales reps (DSMs, PVAs, etc.) to communicate and correct pricing misalignments, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with internal teams and the vendor community to manage customer distributed contracts and ensure pricing accuracy.
- Research issues, address inquiries, and provide necessary support resulting from contract operations. Manage pricing requests from initiation through completion and communicate results accordingly.
- Analyze, interpret, and determine the best course of action to resolve issues related to pricing. Confirm pricing eligibility with appropriate parties. Communicate relevant updates and trend observations to both external and internal business partners.
- Maintain SAP, Zendesk, and other systems to provide visibility to requests and adhere to established procedures regarding documented backup for contract connections.
- Document and review key processes and SOPs with an eye toward improvement.
- Create, maintain, and develop relationships with customers, sales teams, and the vendor community.
- Coordinate meetings between sales and customers to ensure customer expectations are being met and timely action is taken to address pricing issues. Engage the vendor community when required.
- Perform weekly Price Change Notification (PCN) audits to ensure accuracy and communicate changes to customers.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience:
At least one year of experience providing customer service to internal and/or external customers.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (e.g., SUM function, setting borders, column width, inserting charts, text wrap, sorting, headers, footers, print scaling).
- Experience using time‑management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details while meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
- Experience working through the details of a problem, overcoming obstacles, and reaching a positive and successful solution.
- Experience presenting to and communicating with various audiences.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external resources.
Anticipated Salary Range: $54,000.00 – $81,000.00 annually. Salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
