Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly manner and provide excellent customer service.
• Answer questions regarding merchandise and wine club memberships.
• Inform of special promotions and promote advantages of wine club membership.
• Process sales as quickly and efficiently as possible.
• Utilize add on selling, cross selling to maximize sales.
• Answer phones as necessary

• Assist at events

• Accurately receive and check in merchandise deliveries.
• Ensure all merchandise is accurately priced.
• Keep shelves organized and stocked.
• Maintain shop displays.
• Assist in periodic inventories.
• Assist in packing and shipping wine to customers.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work under pressure and receive guidance and direction when needed.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Ability to stand, walk, communicate for long periods of time.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail or customer experience.
• Cash handling principles and experience.
• Capable of using computer equipment and systems used for retail operations.
• Reliable.
