Work Schedule:
Full‑time, 30–40 hours per week with variable shifts (Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Overnight) and days (Friday, Monday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, Tuesday, Wednesday). Work may be assigned irregularly with little advance notice.
Pay Rate: $20.24 / Hour
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
- Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
- Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
- Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
- Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements.
- Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required.
- Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.
- Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
- Have a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic).
- Prior security, military, or law‑enforcement experience.
