Empowerment Village, Temecula, CA Schedule, Hours & On-Site Housing This is a part-time, non-exempt position scheduled for approximately 12 paid hours per week. Specific work hours will be established with the Director of Operations. Because this role provides ongoing on-site property oversight, the employee must reside in the designated Empowerment Village ADU. The employee may be asked to respond to urgent property-related concerns outside scheduled work hours;
time worked must be reported and compensated in accordance with applicable law.

Position Summary The Empowerment Village Site Manager provides hands-on, on-site property oversight for Empowerment Village, Mission Hope’s transitional housing community for single mothers and their children. This role helps maintain a safe, orderly, and welcoming residential environment by conducting property walkthroughs and inspections, coordinating after-hours maintenance, supporting unit turnover and facilities upkeep, and serving as a visible, trauma-informed presence on campus.
The position supports Mission Hope’s operational commitments and contractual requirements for on-site staffing.
Professional Qualifications Ability and willingness to reside full-time in the designated on-site ADU as an essential function of this position. Residency eligibility and household composition will be evaluated in accordance with applicable law and the operational needs of Empowerment Village, a transitional housing community serving single mothers and their children.
Ability to perform property walkthroughs and inspections, respond calmly to urgent property concerns, and communicate clearly with Mission Hope leadership, residents, vendors, and facilities staff.
Ability to complete trauma-informed property-management training provided by Mission Hope.
Valid California Class P driver’s license preferred; required only for any assigned driving duties.
Experience in property oversight, facilities coordination, residential programs, or a related setting preferred.
Core Responsibilities Provide consistent, on-site oversight of the Empowerment Village campus and serve as a reliable point of contact for property-related concerns.
Conduct nightly and weekend property walkthroughs; observe conditions, identify concerns, and promptly communicate issues to the appropriate Mission Hope staff.
Complete weekly unit inspections and, as directed, unannounced inspections in accordance with program procedures and applicable notice requirements.
Monitor campus access and visitor activity; respectfully verify the purpose of visitors and direct unauthorized persons to leave the premises. Escalate safety concerns or emergencies promptly to leadership and emergency services when appropriate.
Coordinate after-hours maintenance needs, including meeting approved vendors such as plumbers or electricians, documenting issues, and coordinating follow-up with Mission Hope maintenance and facilities staff.
Assist with move-out and turnover tasks, including final walkthroughs, cleaning coordination, and preparing homes for staging and incoming residents.
Support routine facilities tasks, including upkeep of the fountain, pool, garden area, and common spaces, within training and assigned capability.
Assist with Saturday volunteer days as scheduled.
If appropriately licensed, trained, authorized, and insured, assist with Wednesday evening transportation to classes using Mission Hope’s van.
