Installation Technician, Field/Service Technician
Tank Specialists of California seeks a highly motivated, conscientious individual to serve in the capacity of full-time Fuel System Installation and Removal Technician.
The candidate will be part of a team of professionals working in the construction industry throughout California (primarily in Southern California). Our office is located in Temecula.
The ideal candidate is able to work with minimal supervision, and is a successful team player with outstanding communications skills.
This position works with the various fuel system installation and removal crews on our staff. The candidate must be willing to perform all duties related to the installation of underground and above ground fuel systems. This work consists of plumbing, electrical, excavation and grading work and light concrete.
This position will also offer the ability to advance to a lead position which includes a take home truck with all work related fuel expenses paid.
Qualifications- Willing to work out of town (within the state of California)
- Good driving record a plus (required for jobs that include a service truck)
- High school diploma or GED
- Fuel system experience specific to the removal and installation of UST and AST systems. ICC and manufacturer certifications a ++
- Ability to be flexible in a fast paced environment
- High organizational skills a must
- Starting salary $26-$30 per hour based on experience
- Some government (prevailing wage) work with hourly rates starting at $62 per hour (must have no criminal record)

- Some positions may include a service truck and tools and fuel
- Travel expenses paid for all "out of town" work
