Job Description:
This is a non-exempt position. The Maintenance Mechanic III works independently with minimal supervision and is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Overtime hours exceeding 40 per week will be compensated at time and a half.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, dismantle, and repair equipment as needed
- Complete preventive maintenance and project-based tasks according to timelines set by management
- Ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards
- Document maintenance activities and report equipment issues as required
- Apprenticeship or equivalent technical training and hands-on mechanical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills
- Experience with extrusion and E-beam equipment is a plus
- Military candidates with mechanical experience are encouraged to apply .
