School Social Worker Intern

As a School Social Worker Intern, you'll work alongside a licensed School Social Worker to help students overcome barriers to learning while developing your own professional skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Our team is seeking a School Social Worker Intern who is compassionate, motivated, and eager to learn. Under the supervision of a School Social Worker/LCSW, you'll support the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students through a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive approach. You'll have opportunities to:
- Assess social, emotional, and behavioral factors that impact student success
- Help design and implement individual and school-wide interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and community partners to coordinate support services
- Provide individual and small-group sessions that build coping skills, social-emotional learning, and school adjustment
- Engage in professional development and reflective supervision to strengthen your skills in ethics, assessment, intervention, and advocacy
