Shipping Lead-1st Shift

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee and coordinate daily activities of shipping team members to achieveshipping goals while implementing process improvement initiative.

Complete and maintain accurate shipping records, including packing lists, shipping labels, and bills of lading.

Provide aid in transporting customer products by utilizing correct lifting methods to prevent injuries.

Operate forklifts, pallet jack and cranes safely and efficiently to move and loadshipments.

Identify and drive trucks, then maneuver them into designated dock locations toenable team members to begin loading.

Assist at the end of the department line to gather fully stocked racks and deliver them to the designated shipping dock locations as instructed.

Help to organize inventory within the shipping area, ensuring proper stock levels.

Inspect outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues to the supervisor.

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Demonstrate MITER Brands Guiding Principles in all business interactions.
