Position Status: Full Time Permanent two full time operators needed

Salary: $27.24 - $30.43 (As per the Collective Agreement)

The Equipment Operator will join the Public Works Department and report directly tothe Public Works Superintendent. The Equipment Operator will be part of a team responsible for the operation of heavy equipment including winter maintenance &snow removal, the maintenance of roadways, sidewalks buildings & properties,collecting debris & garbage, assisting with the operations of water &wastewater and general labour duties.

The employee may be required on an ongoing basis to attend applicable training,workshops, seminars and courses at the discretion of the Employer in order to facilitate job knowledge and performance.

• Minimum Grade
  12 or equivalent required
• Valid Provinceof Ontario Class DZ license
• Mechanical aptitude
• Good public relations skills
• Ability to workwith minimal supervision
• Ontario Water Wastewater Certificates (or willingness
• Good oral and written communication skills including
• Health and Safety Regulations
• Basic computeroperating skills (Microsoft Office)
• Related experience
