Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying a Public Accountant who will support a growing book of business by owning the preparation of S‑Corporation, Partnership, and select C‑Corporation tax returns, along with related accounting and client communication. This role is ideal for a self‑driven public accounting professional who can independently manage multiple returns, proactively gather client information, and identify future tax and accounting needs.

• Prepare and review S‑Corporation and Partnership tax returns as the primary focus
• Complete tax returns efficiently, while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Perform end‑to‑end tax preparation, including reviewing prior‑year filings, analyzing financials, and finalizing returns.
• Handle Quick Books accounting from A‑to‑Z, including bank reconciliations, bookkeeping cleanup, and current‑year account maintenance.
• Proactively request, track, and follow up on client information needed to complete returns, including financial statements, K‑1s, payroll data, and supporting documentation.
• Communicate directly with clients to clarify transactions, resolve discrepancies, and gather information for upcoming tax work.
• Manage tax extensions while simultaneously preparing current‑year accounting and future filings.
• Identify opportunities for additional or future work, including amended returns, extensions, or tax planning needs.
• Balance day‑to‑day tax production with out‑of‑service work, ensuring deadlines are consistently met during peak periods.

• 5+ years of Public accounting experience, with a strong focus on tax return preparation.
• Hands‑on experience preparing S‑Corporation and Partnership tax returns (C‑Corp experience preferred).
• Proven experience using Quick Books, including full‑cycle bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with professional tax preparation software (e.g., Lacerte or similar).
• Ability to work independently and self‑manage workload with minimal oversight.
• Comfortable working up to 55 hours per week including weekends during tax season (February 1st – April 15th). Plusses
• CPA certification.
• Experience with Intuit Lacerte.
