Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Tempe, Arizona. In this role, you will handle essential accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial operations. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to maintaining organized and accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.

- Prepare and reconcile financial accounts to ensure data integrity.

- Manage billing activities, including invoice generation and distribution.

- Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain financial records.

- Handle invoice processing and resolve discrepancies as needed.

- Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, Quick Books, or SAP to complete various financial tasks.

- Generate reports and provide support for audits when required.

- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.

- Maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

- Assist in other accounting duties as assigned by management. Requirements - Proven experience in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

- Proficiency in invoice processing and billing procedures.

- Strong skills in data entry with high attention to detail.

- Familiarity with accounting software like Microsoft Excel, Oracle, Quick Books, and SAP.

- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and numerical aptitude.

- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
