Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Tempe, Arizona. In this role, you will handle key financial operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively with accounting software and systems.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.

- Reconcile financial accounts to ensure all data aligns with company records.

- Handle invoice processing and resolve discrepancies promptly.

- Maintain accurate billing records and assist with related financial reporting.

- Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain financial databases.

- Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, Quick Books, and SAP to manage financial operations.

- Prepare and review financial documentation for internal and external use.

- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and workflows.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Requirements - Proven experience in account reconciliation and financial record management.

- Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Familiarity with billing procedures and invoice management.

- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.

- Experience working with Oracle, Quick Books, and SAP.

- Ability to analyze financial information and resolve discrepancies.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
