Job OverviewAs a Staff Accountant II you will perform key functions within the accounting segment, working under the direction of Senior Accountants and the Controllers.
Responsibilities include preparing and recording journal entries, preparing month‑end reconciliations and analysis, assisting in data compilation and validation for special projects, and supporting daily accounting operations.
Responsibilities- Prepare monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and other assigned accounts, working with business partners to obtain support for any reconciling items.
- Book appropriate recurring journal entries as well as any monthly required clean‑up entries.
- Monitor aged cash receipts for assigned stores to ensure timely resolution.
- Complete month‑end closing responsibilities.
- Support external and internal auditors with quarterly reviews and annual audits (pulling and providing audit support).
- Interact with internal customers by providing monthly reporting and answering funding inquiries.
- Assist in variance analysis on account balances on a month‑over‑month basis for leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 1–3 years overall experience in accounting.
- Must be able to perform duties independently.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Licensed CPA.
- Accounting audit experience.
- General Ledger experience.
