Staff Accountant

Department: Finance

Location: US-Arizona-Tempe-Corp HQ

• Review intercompany balance sheets and income statement accounts
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP
• Assist with quarterly and annual reviews/audits and other GL activities or projects as assigned
• Identify and resolve intercompany accounting issues in a multi‑currency environment
• Collaborate with Tax, IT, Treasury and International accounting teams on intercompany matters
• Perform monthly intercompany close activities including preparation of journal entries, review of intercompany shipment reports, and reconciliation of certain intercompany accounts
• Ensure all intercompany accounts are properly eliminated in consolidated financial statements
• Support system projects with testing of intercompany system configuration changes, creating/updating test plans and documenting results
• Provide training and support to ensure global compliance with intercompany policies
• Participate in finance related projects and other ad‑hoc projects
• Provide control documentation to Internal Audit and assure internal controls are operating effectively

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• 4+ years of general accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general accounting operations and processes
• Accounting knowledge under US GAAP
• Analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, global environment

• Understanding of intercompany accounting concepts and requirements
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with SAP/S4 HANA or other large ERP system
• Experience with Black Line or similar reconciliation tools
• Knowledge of general accounting operations and processes
• Accounting knowledge under US GAAP
