We are looking for a motivated Construction Accountant to join our growing team in a hybrid work environment.

This role offers the opportunity to build a rewarding career in construction accounting while gaining hands-on experience across multiple accounting functions that directly support active construction projects.

If you're looking for more than a repetitive accounting position, this is an opportunity to develop your skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, job costing, reconciliations, and month-end close while working alongside experienced accounting professionals and project teams.

While prior construction accounting experience and Viewpoint Spectrum knowledge are ideal, we're also open to candidates with accounting or bookkeeping experience who are eager to learn the construction industry. What You'll Do
Support accounting activities for active construction and infrastructure projects
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Prepare customer invoices and assist with project billing
Track project costs and maintain accurate job cost records
Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close
Review vendor invoices and ensure proper coding
Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
Partner with project managers to research billing and cost discrepancies
Assist with audits, financial reporting, and special projects
Continue expanding your responsibilities as your experience grows

What We're Looking For
Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, or a related accounting function
Construction accounting experience preferred
Open to candidates with limited experience who are eager to learn and build a career

Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum is highly preferred
Exposure to job costing or project accounting is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable learning new systems and processes
Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
Desire to grow within a long-term career in construction accounting
