Project Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain project cost reports, tracking budgets, committed costs, labor, equipment, materials, and job cost adjustments
• Partner with Project Managers to manage budgets, forecasts, change orders, and project financial performance, including cost-to-complete and margin analysis
• Process and reconcile project billings (T&M, progress, SOV), resolve billing inquiries, support collections, and monitor accounts receivable
• Review vendor invoices, subcontractor pay applications, lien waivers, and compliance documentation while supporting project setup and contract administration
• Assist with month-end close, ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies, and maintain organized project financial records

Requirements:

• Experience in the construction industry, with strong knowledge of WIP reporting and job costing
• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS)
