Job Description:
- The Administration Contractor will support inventory organization, data entry, and general facility upkeep activities.
- This role involves organizing parts, maintaining accurate inventory records, labeling and tagging materials, and ensuring proper documentation within the Master Inventory List system.
- The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with maintenance technicians and team members.
Organizing Shelves:
- Organize shelves by grouping items according to part numbers into designated bins.
- Enter part numbers and related information into the Master Inventory List.
- Print and tag items and bins based on recorded information.
- Annotate discrepancies, unknown information, or unidentified manufacturers or vendors in the Master Inventory List.
- Communicate shortages of storage materials as needed.
- Continue organization process until all parts are properly sorted and documented.
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians to ensure proper grouping of parts.
- Begin with populated shelves and verify existing inventory.
- Label inventory locations with appropriate identifiers or codes.
- Move bin by bin and enter accurate location data into the Master Inventory List for each barcoded part.
- Log inventory counts for each part.
- Mark inventory locations as locked and controlled once verified.
- Contact MVP Administrator for data import processes as required.
- Dust shelves and bins to maintain cleanliness.
- Sweep floors in assigned areas.
- Break down boxes and dispose of packaging materials.
- Perform general trash removal duties.
- Strong data entry and database entry skills.
- Experience with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technicians and cross-functional team members.
- Team-oriented mindset with flexibility and adaptability.
- Experience working with mechanical parts.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Zero to three years of related experience preferred.
Education:
- High School Diploma required.
- Associate degree preferred but not required.
