This job posting is anticipated to remain open for 30 days, from 26-Feb-2026. The posting may close early due to the volume of applicants.

Creates customized processes and solutions while training and supporting in a multi‑dynamic environment. Trains experienced advisors (EA) on all systems and processes (onsite or remotely) when starting at Edward Jones. Organizes and guides EA through transition of business and clients while also implementing changes that are needed for the EA to run their branch. Onboarding specialist also trains and supports BOA whether a host, existing or new.

Onboarding specialist also adapts to office situation to create a welcoming environment for EA and host branch. Adjusts to varying situations including open office, RTP, GK, host (IBP), teaming and alternative acquisition methods firmwide. Works across multiple departments and divisions to provide support for EA and updates to stakeholders.

  • This position requires 40-60% travel annually
    . Most Experienced Advisor (EA) training is conducted in person
    , and each assignment may have its own unique and evolving travel and training needs
    . Flexibility to adjust to changing schedules and requirements is essential

  • Reviews all transfers and account opening paperwork to ensure seamless account movement between firms. Corrects and resubmits any errors on ACATs that impede asset movement to EJ

  • Interacts with multiple vendors to ensure smooth processing of accounts, annuities, life insurance and ERPs (401(k), 403(b) Owner K etc.).

  • Creates specialized plans to train experienced advisor in a 'just in time' format using knowledge from continued training on EJ system improvements and staying up to date on all products, services and new software.

  • Creates plan for continued support from region, host branch and TBS team upon onboarding specialist assignment completion

  • Interacts with multiple vendors to ensure smooth processing of accounts, annuities, life insurance and ERPs (401(k), 403(b) Owner K etc.).

  • Responsible for administrative paperwork which enables asset transfers (Team averages $550 million / year)
