Job Summary

AIS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Associate Communications Specialist/Intern to support internal communications, marketing collateral, and administrative coordination efforts. This entry-level, part-time hybrid position based in Tempe, AZ will assist with developing and maintaining project profiles, coordinating business card orders, organizing communication materials, and supporting day-to-day communication initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, organized, and eager to gain hands‑on business and communications experience in a collaborative environment. This role is well suited for a recent graduate, current student, or early‑career professional interested in business communications, marketing support, or corporate administration.

  • Assist with the creation, formatting, and organization of marketing and communication collateral materials
  • Support the development and maintenance of project profiles and company documentation
  • Coordinate business card orders and ensure accuracy of employee information and branding standards
  • Maintain organized electronic files, templates, and communication records
  • Assist with internal communication efforts and general administrative support tasks
  • Proofread documents for formatting, grammar, spelling, and consistency
  • Collaborate with team members to support various communication and operational initiatives
  • Perform additional administrative and communications-related duties as assigned
Requirements and Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
Preferred Requirements and Education
  • Previous internship, office administration, communications, or customer service experience
  • Experience formatting professional documents and presentations
  • Familiarity with business communication standards and branding consistency
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or similar collaboration tools
  • Interest in communications, marketing, business operations, or corporate support functions
