This is a part‑time, temporary position, not eligible for benefits.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Thursday, between 8 AM – 9 PM, up to 19.5 hours per week; shift hours and days may vary depending on location needs; select locations are open on Friday.
Provides front‑line customer service and performs administrative/clerical duties at a community‑based location serving a diverse population of adult education students.
Essential Functions- 50% – Conduct student intake and registration; collect fee payments; input student demographics, attendance, and assessment data into a state database; maintain accurate program and student records.
- 40% – Provide a variety of general and specific information regarding courses and programs offered; use multi‑line phones, computers, and general office equipment on a daily basis.
- 10% – Troubleshoot technology issues, assist with event set up, schedule appointments, and perform related tasks in support of the operations at the location.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in a customer service environment.
- Effective written communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in clerical/administrative work within a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience working with diverse backgrounds and non‑traditional learners.
