Work Schedule

19.5 hours a week; hours are, Monday-Thursday, closing shift. Must be flexible schedule, shift will depend on department needs. May be required to work weekends during peak registration periods.

Job Summary

This position works in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is required. Process student payments, campus proceeds, and accesses a variety of charges to student accounts. Provides quality customer service to internal and external customers in-person and over the phone.

Essential Functions
  • 60% - Provides customer service assistance to current and prospective students and staff over the phone and in-person
  • 30% - Process a variety of payments such as, credit card, personal checks, money orders, and cash
  • 10% - Provides general office support such as, document scanning, filing, and data entry. Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in customer service in person, and over the phone
  • Cash handling and multi-tasking, with the ability to research and interpret customer accounts
  • Experience working in a team-oriented setting, structured environment and remotely
  • Experience handling customer confidential information
Special Working Conditions

Position requires long hours of viewing a computer monitor and the ability to lift 25 pounds. This position will work remotely as well as in-person. Main Cashiers Office Tempe location, Rio Salado College-Tempe is located at 2323 W. 14th Street, Tempe, AZ 85281.
