That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

The Accounting and Finance department is a corporate function which provides services for and collaborates with members of our 4+ companies. As a Product Manager within this group, you will own the discovery, definition, and delivery of product features that support core financial and accounting capabilities across the enterprise.

This role is ideal for a true Product Manager - someone who enjoys deeply understanding a problem space, translating that understanding into well‑defined features and user stories, and partnering with stakeholders and technology teams to deliver the highest‑value outcomes.

You will work closely with both technical and non‑technical partners to identify gaps, challenge assumptions, align on priorities, and propose operational and technical solutions that support company strategy. You will also communicate product vision, process flows, and user scenarios, and prepare product research, ROI analysis, and executive‑level summaries to guide decision‑making.

In long, our Product Managers are responsible for:
  • Own features and enhancements from problem discovery through launch and adoption
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of assigned product areas, including systems, data flows, business rules, and operational impacts
  • Translate business problems into clear product features, epics, and user stories
  • Continuously assess value, risk, and ROI to help determine the right product investments
  • Align product decisions to company strategy and longer‑term roadmaps
  • Lead in‑depth discovery by asking thoughtful questions and getting to the why behind requests
  • Perform gap analysis of current‑state processes and systems, identifying both technical and operational opportunities
  • Document current‑state and future‑state process flows and user scenarios; identify dependencies, risks, and cross‑functional impacts when proposing solutions
  • Provide alternative perspectives and solution options to strengthen decision‑making
  • Partner with business owners, end‑users, technology teams, and vendors to understand needs and clarify requests
  • Challenge stakeholders constructively to ensure priorities are aligned to the highest‑value outcomes
  • Facilitate prioritization discussions across competing initiatives and constraints
  • Ensure requirements are well‑understood, validated, and aligned before development begins
  • Document product requirements for signoff and handoff to agile development teams
  • Collaborate with engineering and data teams to define acceptance criteria and success metrics
  • Support product launches through planning, training, communication, and post‑launch measurement
  • Monitor outcomes and adoption, using metrics and feedback to inform future iterations
  • Provide visibility to stakeholders through product research, summaries, and solution proposals
  • Communicate effectively across technical, business, and analytical audiences
  • Keep partners aligned with clear, consistent, and timely communication
  • Act as a collaborative partner with external vendors throughout the product lifecycle
  • Demonstrate interest in mentoring, coaching, or leading others over time
  • Contribute to a culture of strong product thinking, curiosity, and accountability
  • Support the evolution of product management practices within the team
